In science we want to introduce the children to the world of living things, materials and energy through scientific enquiry and to help children acquire the skills, concepts and attitudes which will enable them to begin to understand the world they live in.

We develop the skills associated with scientific methods of investigation, use practical investigations, questioning and mind mapping to develop a spirit of enquiry. We want children to gain knowledge and understanding of science by using the skills of observation, prediction, investigation and interpretation.
