Playground Leaders

‘Playground Leaders’ were introduced into our school to help develop pupils’ social development and safe play on a lunchtime. Leaders provide help and support to children who may feel socially excluded by listening to their needs, talking to them and playing games with them.

The leaders are trained by Mr Webb. This training has been applied and activities such as short tennis, quick cricket and rounders are regularly organised by the leaders on a lunchtime.

The leaders have been a great success in our school providing an excellent lunchtime experience for both pupils and staff.
